1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Goal OS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Goal OS is a goal-setting and productivity platform that provides AI coaching, habit tracking, weekly planning, time blocking, and workspace features. The service is provided "as is" and may be updated at any time.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service
• One person per account; accounts cannot be shared
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Goal OS (goals, notes, journal entries, etc.). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content to provide the service, including sending it to AI providers for coaching features.

5. AI-Generated Content

Goal OS uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate coaching responses, suggestions, and reflections. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional advice (medical, financial, legal, or otherwise). You are responsible for any decisions you make based on AI suggestions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the service's operation or security
• Use the API in a way that exceeds rate limits or abuses the service
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

7. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free accounts are available with limited features
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
• You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

9. Limitation of Liability

Goal OS is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or inability to access the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
