The goal
Strength train 2 times a week, every week, by the end of the quarter
Make it yours: change the highlighted parts, the numbers and the wording. In Ascanti the dates are set from the quarter you start in.
How you'll know you got there
Training 2 times a week for 12 weeks, with good form and steadily heavier lifts.
Why this works
Strength training helps how you feel and move day to day, and most of the benefit comes from simply showing up regularly. This plan starts light with a simple full-body routine, focuses on form before weight, and adds a little each week so the habit sticks before the training gets hard.
A note of care: If you have an injury or health condition, check with a doctor or physiotherapist first. Learn each movement with light weights, ideally with a qualified coach.
Milestones
One checkpoint for each month of the quarter.
- Month 1Started: a simple full-body routine learned with light weights
- Month 2Consistent: 2 sessions a week for four weeks in a row
- Month 3Progressing: lifts increased and a plan for the next 12 weeks
